The second annual United Against Food Waste event will take place in Copenhagen this October. Organised by  Stop Wasting Food and Communiqué, this event is Denmark's largest event against food waste.

At last year's event, some 6000 people were offered meals created from surplus food which would have otherwise been discarded.

This year's United Against Food Waste event will take place at City Hall Square, with an opening by Lord Mayor of Copenhagen, Frank Jensen.
