The school is organized by the International Research Group “Graphene and Nanotubes: Science and Applications” (GDR-I GNT). The GDR-I is an international coordination network cross-linking research on nanotubes and more recently on graphene. It gathers European, American and Canadian partners since 1998. This event will be the third school that the GDR-I organizes in Cargese, after a school on nanotubes in 2006  and one on graphene in 2010
